A big well done must go to AFC Bedford who had a barn storming season and ended up winning the league by 2 points. They also found themselves with the best goal difference after finishing with plus 84. They ended up with 52 points from the 22 games, with 16 wins and 4 draws, losing 2. Well done Bedford and good luck in the Premier League.

12Final53We then get onto the two teams who finished second and third. In second were G.I.S.B Rammstein F.C. They ended up in the play-off group with Boscombe from div 1.1, Ossett Youth Academy from the EPL and All Stars from div 1.3. Rammstein gained 6 points and finished second behind Boscombe who won all three of their games.

FC REAL HISTON finished third in the league and ended up in a play-off group with Sin City from div 1.1, Greenbay from the EPL and Diably Podlaskie from div 1.3. Histon had a real struggle in the play-off group and only managed a single point from the three games.

Finishing fourth just 2 points behind Histon we had Kettering Town FC who were pushing Histon till the end and lost form in the last couple of games to let Histon sneak ahead of them at the end. They should be happy with their final position and looking to push on this season.

Then safe in mid-table in 5th place we had Mayo FC, they ended up 7 points behind Histon, and also 7 points clear of the relegation play-offs. They had a solid season and they will be hoping to keep this up and challenge for the top positions in the next couple of seasons.

Hunting High & Low ended up in 6th position, 3 points clear of the relegation play-off battles and they had a great second half of the season and pulled away from the relegation play-offs to finish in mid table a great run of form.

Then just escaping the relegation play-offs by the skin of their teeth we have bojo stanislawa augusta, they came 7th and only 2 points clear of the dreaded relegation play-offs. They also had a strong second half of the season after being in the relegation play-offs spots at the mid point of the season.

Then in the first play-off place to stay in the division we had Partington who had a poor second half of the season to end up just inside the play-offs. In the play-offs they ended up in a group with La Cicloneta from div 2.5, Kohala Gunners FC and Blackburn Olympic. Partington ended the group with 6 points which was only good enough for second place in the league so they have ended up being relegated.

Then in the second relegation play-off place we had Liphook who were 3 points away from safety. They ended up in a relegation play-off group with Southampton F.C. From div 2.6, Middleton from div 2.4 and Elizabeth United F.C. From div 2.5. Liphook had a real shocker in the group and came bottom with no points and a -19 goal difference, I was expecting better from Liphook.

Then we have 3 teams who were relegated quite a while ago as they were a minimum 15 points away from safety. First off we had FYR of Slough who only ended up with 15 points which is half of what 9th placed Liphook. I was expecting Slough to be stronger after they did so well last season. Then we had Lanston United who only picked up 8 points in total from 22 games and will need to become better in division 2 if they are going to have any chance if they make it back into division 1.

Then we have the inactive Chuffing Hell City who go zero points.

This therefore means we have said bye to the following teams:

  1. AFC Bedford who have gone to the EPL and I wish them good luck.
  2. Partington who have gone down to division 2.5
  3. Liphook who have gone to division 2.6
  4. FYR of Slough who have also gone to division 2.5
  5. Lanston United who have also gone to division 2.6
  6. Chuffing Hell City who have dropped down to 3.4 due to being inactive.

I wish all the relegated teams well and hopefully they will be joining back in division one very soon.

We therefore have the following new teams in division 1.1:

  1. Jagiellonia from division 2.5
  2. R W R Warriors from division 2.4
  3. Clacton City from division 2.6
  4. Southampton Fc from division 2.6
  5. La Cicloneta from division 2.5
  6. AC Milan from the EPL.

I welcome these new teams to division 1.1 and wish you all a good season ahead.

Time for some predictions and I am going for Rammstein and AC Milan to be pushing for the top spot due to them both having some real strong teams and both looking to get back to the EPL.

Then the struggler’s I am going for Kettering Town who have sold some experienced players, Southampton who may find this a step to far and Jagiellonia who also may find this a hard division.
